Who is at the center of the campaign?
STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ Shade is a cargo pilot turned racer pursuing revenge and glory. Shade grew up on Gathleon under the Bool family's oppressive rule and dreamed of becoming a racing legend. Dangerous cargo work later brought Shade into contact with Darius Pax, the Galactic League's founder.
Kestar Bool is the League's reigning champion and Shade's principal rival on and off the track. Their conflict began before the League: after Shade collided with Kestar's speeder during a protest, Kestar had Shade imprisoned in an Imperial jail. Pax recruits Shade to challenge Kestar and preserve control of the League.
Who helps Shade race?
Hibi is Shade's loyal friend, main companion, and mechanic. The young Ardennian encourages Shade to accept Pax's friendly exhibition race after Shade initially resists his offer. Her paddock workshop supplies parts and upgrades to prepare Shade's vehicle for competition.
Shade's campaign customization includes outfits, helmets, male or female appearance, and voice selection. These options change Shade's presentation while retaining the same backstory.

Podracing Tour unlocks at Multiplayer Rank 5 and takes 8 players across 5 planets, with vehicle upgrades after each race.
Ben's Double Control Surfaces reduce vehicle drag and improve cornering. His Complex Interlocks increase the damage he receives from vehicle collisions, so avoiding contact helps limit that drawback.
