Use this hub to plan star wars galactic racer runs around vehicle upgrades, Ramjet heat, crash protection, and cosmetic rewards. The Galactic Tour campaign builds toward the championship against Kestar Bool on Derven Acos. Your setup needs enough speed to compete and enough control to keep racing. Separate performance upgrades from appearance purchases so you can choose rewards that match your goal.
Build toward the championship
The STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ best build recommendation targets a Level 15 Skim Speeder with Base Speed 450+, all six stats at 7/10 or more, and Redliner Rank 3. Flame Vent, Overtaking Surge, and Impact Shield support cooling, passing, and protection. Treat these as championship targets when deciding which gaps to address during a Tour.
At the start of a new Galactic Tour, spend Tuning Points on base stats. You can make up to 15 increases, one per level; the balanced championship setup spreads them evenly. Scenarios are five-race tournaments that also award Tuning Points. Redliner unlocks after a cumulative 375 seconds of Ramjet use in Galactic Tour campaign races.
Ability Packs and Hibi's workshop stock are random, so adapt to what you receive. Unlocking a part does not guarantee that Hibi will immediately offer it. Cooling parts help manage sustained Ramjet use, while power and Redlining parts reward control of the heat gauge.
Keep the run alive
Redlining is Ramjet's strongest zone, but filling the gauge causes an explosion. Release Ramjet before the gauge fills, and use a Vent ability when available to cool it while maintaining propulsion. Too many crashes remove you from the Tour.
Do not keep adding boost power if overheating or collisions already end your attempts. Cooling, Cornering, and Resilience support the control needed to use that speed.
Mad Genius provides two extra crashes per event at max rank. Team Vranki rewards each unused crash opportunity with 150 Credits, while Fan Club gives a chance of a +2 Upgrade Pack for a top-three finish. These favors offer different benefits: more room for mistakes, rewards for preserving your crash allowance, or a chance to improve stats.
Match the currency to your goal
| Currency | Supported use |
|---|---|
| Tuning Points | Unlocking the other two vehicle types and buying permanent upgrades for all three |
| Credits | Perks and abilities during a Tour |
| Kit Points | Cosmetic vehicle models and paint jobs |
For appearance rewards, inspect a Field Test's success reward list before choosing it. Successfully completing one that lists Kit Points earns that currency. STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ kit points carry over between Tour attempts, so you can save them for a look you prefer.
Cosmetic models and paint jobs do not change vehicle performance. The menu's Customize option holds vehicle appearance settings; use STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™ customization when planning your model or livery. Keep those choices separate from the permanent upgrades and in-Tour purchases that support your next championship attempt.
For what each of the six stats does and which to upgrade first for your vehicle and mode, see All Upgrades.
